MY SILENT WAKE Completes Work On New Double Album
February 25, 2007MY SILENT WAKE, the U.K.-based doom metal band fronted by former SEVENTH ANGEL/ASHEN MORTALITY vocalist Ian Arkley, has completed work on its new release, due later in the year via Bombworks Records. According to a press release, "MSW have outdone themselves this time around. This album is MASSIVE. It is a two-disc set featuring a metal disc that crushes as well as an amazing acoustic disc! The sound is huge! The second disc is an acoustic album featuring tons of instruments and will remind you of DEAD CAN DANCE and the like. Disc two is beautiful and powerful."
MY SILENT WAKE's full-length debut, "Shadow of Sorrow", was released last year via Bombworks. The album was recorded in just four and a half days and with the inclusion of tracks from the band's two-song EP tracks clocks in at over 79 minutes of music. The artwork was created by Rex Zachary, who previously worked with OPETH.
